1. Introduction

Welcome to Grab My Deals (https://grabmydeals.co.nz) (“Website”).

By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use this Website.

Grab My Deals operates as an online marketplace connecting customers with independent vendors offering goods and services.

2. Definitions

  • Content – All material on the Website including text, images, software, and user-generated content

  • Voucher / Coupon – A digital or printed voucher purchased through the Website

  • Deal – A promotional offer for goods and/or services listed by a Vendor

  • Deal Period – The limited time period in which the promotional offer is valid

  • Paid Value – The amount paid by the customer for a voucher

  • Member – A registered user of the Website

  • Vendor / Merchant – A business or individual offering goods or services

  • Services – Goods or services provided by Vendors

  • User – Any person accessing the Website

  • We / Us / Our – Grab My Deals

  • You / Your – The user or customer

3. Use of the Website

Grab My Deals provides a platform for Vendors to promote and sell deals. We act as an intermediary and are not the supplier of the goods or services.

  • Vendors are solely responsible for fulfilling their offers

  • We may receive a commission on sales

  • You agree to provide accurate information when registering

  • You consent to receiving communications (you may opt out at any time)

4. Purchase and Redemption of Vouchers

4.1 General

  • All purchases are final unless required otherwise under New Zealand law

  • Each voucher contains a unique code and is typically single-use

  • Vouchers cannot be combined with other offers unless stated

  • Lost or stolen vouchers are not the responsibility of Grab My Deals

5. Voucher Validity (New Zealand Compliance)

All vouchers sold through Grab My Deals are subject to New Zealand consumer law.

  • Vouchers are valid for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of purchase

  • Any shorter expiry stated on a voucher does not override this legal requirement

6. Deal Period (Promotional Validity)

  • Vouchers may include a limited-time promotional offer (“Deal Period”), typically 3 months, unless otherwise stated

  • To receive the full promotional or discounted value, the voucher must be redeemed within the Deal Period

7. Use After Deal Period (Important)

If a voucher is not redeemed within the Deal Period:

  • The promotional or discounted component will expire

  • The voucher will remain valid for the Paid Value only

  • The Paid Value can be used toward goods or services at the Vendor’s standard pricing

Example:
A $100 value deal purchased for $50 must be used within the Deal Period for full value. After expiry, the voucher remains valid for $50 for up to 3 years.

8. Booking and Availability

  • All bookings are subject to Vendor availability

  • Advance bookings are strongly recommended

  • Vendors may apply reasonable conditions (e.g. cancellation policies, capacity limits, blackout dates)

9. Partial Redemption

  • Any unused Paid Value may be used in future transactions within the 3-year validity period

  • No cash refunds will be given unless required by law

10. Refunds and Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under:

  • Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

  • Fair Trading Act 1986

  • Any other applicable New Zealand law

Refunds will only be provided where required by law.

11. Marketplace Disclaimer

  • Grab My Deals is not the provider of goods or services

  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of Vendor offerings

  • Any issues with services must be addressed with the Vendor

We may assist with dispute resolution at our discretion but are not liable for Vendor performance.

12. Intellectual Property

All Website content is owned or licensed by Grab My Deals.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written consent.

13. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website unlawfully

  • Submit false or misleading information

  • Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content

  • Attempt to disrupt Website functionality or security

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where necessary.

14. Third-Party Content

We may display links or content from third parties. We are not responsible for their content, services, or policies.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Use of the Website is at your own risk

  • We are not liable for Vendor actions or service delivery

  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss

Nothing in this clause limits rights under New Zealand law.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Website at any time for breach of these Terms or for operational reasons.

17. Dispute Resolution

  • Users should first contact Grab My Deals for assistance

  • If unresolved, disputes should be addressed with the Vendor

  • We may assist with mediation but are not a party to the transaction

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
